 Heeheehee. i hope this does well. this is my little tribute(imitation) of the 3rd place winner of 'the color purple' challenge(i forgot who it was that took that photo). anyways, its a white bowl with marbles and stones and stuff at the bottom. lit with my flash set on the sugar container:)

This is a great picture which I think deserves more than the 5.9 it received in the challenge.

Surprised this didn't do better, its one of the most colourful droplet shots I have seen, very very pretty.

I really like this image. The colors remind me of spring: the colors of a patch of violets. And I love the way the drop is balancing atop the tiny point of water. Some day I may try a water drop shot myself. Thanks for sharing your setup.

Very nicely done. Not as purple as some in this challenge and the subject doesn't scream "purple" to me, but the technicals are impressive.
