| What a cool looking flower, nice diagonal composition; this flower really cries out for a diagonal composition I think. |

Oh, wouldn't it be nice if these were available in december when red & green are so much in favor.

Interesting that the red of the flower is so different than the red of the buds. Nice composition.

| These are a much-loved wildflower in my area. I'm still trying to get a good shot of one, which is tricky because of the constant wind. Glad you got one to hold still long enough for a good shot. |
