The deep blue without the stem & this would be 5 star- instead of 4.5 -I like it !!! |

This things beg for a centered comp. I love the way the color and light make a gradient from the petals down into the center. |

Like the texture and the lighting. The stem could be removed and you would still have a very good image here. Water stain almost suggest the petals are going to dissolve! |

My first thought is Oh, I wish I had this hollyhock. Those upper petals with the droplets and the silvery blue translucency varying as the light falls on their subtle wibbles. |
