when i was a kid, the big event was to drive past the cemetery at night and watch the "turning angel". well, she doesn't really turn, but an optical illusion caused by the car's headlights makes it seem so.

Interestingly, you have a bit of a dark halo around your angel ... I'm wondering if it's intended that way.

there are a lot of statue shots in this challenge & find this to be the best. Love the bg with the clouds & beautiful blue sky. The glare from the sun on the angel's(?) wings is very appropriate. Not sure about the title but that is inconsequential. Nice work here. the only thing I see that could improve this is that there seems to be a dark glow around the subject that is infintestimally discerning. 8

Good shot. I like the sun star. VERY minor thing: there is a little black edge in the lower left corner, won't effect anything. I like the concept of this

Very interesting picture for his challenge. I supposed because you can see some of the details of the angel it isn't technically a silhouette but I really like it.

I'm sure others have mentioned it by now, but you have some kind of artifact around the statue. I haven't seen this before and wonder if it is a sharpening issue, or something with your camera...

Blue colo against black is very nice. Placement of sun-star at a nice point.

There is an edge around the statue, by the looks of it due to editing.

Good subject, sky looks nice. It's over sharpened though, lower right corner especially looks way over done on the sharpening

good image but would have rather seen in in B&W and backlit by the sun vs. having the sun into the lens, MHO
