 These seem to photograph well, separating themselves from the background without getting too blown out. The name is one of several I found for these, and the one I like most ... :-)

I think this "colorized" version (in University of California colors!) is interesting emphasizes the shapes more than the pretty colors.

I think I prefer the natural colours, but an interesting experiment.
