Excellent portrait of Centaurea montana/perennial cornflower.

I can be nice too, ddoc, but then again I am trying to get rid of it in my garden where it self seeds and also develops deep and prongy taproots, and yet it is an extraordinarily structured flower.

It's not a lily, it's Mountain Bluet, it grows wild around here. Also known as cornflower. I have some in my garden. Wonderful photo of it, great colours.
