 As you know, I LOVE flowers, and this is one of my new orchids that is in full bloom.

I took quite a few images, but this one jumped right out off the page.

Ah, it was you! And I figured who better to receive the honor of my 20,000th comment than someone who's given so many! This really is a lovely shot, Shez - very well exposed, and I love it as a square crop. It did indeed jump off the page for me, too. In a way, I think it was because it it so "you". Thanks for sharing your wonderful view of the world around you - you truly do have a unique eye for presenting it in lovely square boxes for us!

Shez, your flowers are such a breath of fresh air. And since it is winter where you are, I bet it is a source of sweet joy every time you look at this beautiful delicate flower. The photograph is lovely!

If I were to guess, I'd bet this is Sherpet and one of her amazingly clear, warm, brilliantly colored square crops of a gorgeous flower. And if not, you've done a wonderful job creating a very Shez-like image!

seems like too much sharpening, there's some haloing around the edges.
