 This wide open meadow is grazing land for a medium sized herd of cattle. I assume it is for this meadow that the nearby town of Butte Meadows was named.

That lens and you sure are getting along well. This reminds me of a scene out of an old cowboy movie, back when movies were big and grand and saturated, and the directors knew how to shoot for the big screen and not TVs.
