 Besides the fact that the coffe cups are positioned to form a line, I feel the image expresses "time". All the cups are empty, and it implies that the person at the table has spent a considerable time at the coffe shop. I also like that the persons face cannot be seen in the image, but at the same time a face can be seen on the magazine.

Great image, I like how captured the afternoon sun, the mood and the sounds. I can almost hear the clacking of the dishes and conversations among patrons.
