 I had no intention of entering this challenge until on a visit home to my parents and seeing their poor lawn and it's multiple weeds, and the even poorer (..or dead!) snails that were at the hands of my mum.... when I thought of the snail cemetery.

I used my compact Powershot G9 for this, so was very happy with the results given I didn't use an SLR. All I did with the image was to import the RAW file with some adjustments (i.e. make it a little greener, slightly sharper), cropped, and then added a small green and white border.

I think a little boost in contrast would make the snails stand out some more and give the overall photo some oomph.
