 my setup was in a dark closet, and the rose was on a piece of black construction paper. The lighting came from a flashlight that I propped up on some cardboard boxes to get the angle of the light to fall directly on the flower. I used my Canon Powershot, on manual setting, but you can see the rest of the details below.
