 The cut out and shading was done using a laser engraver. Taped white paper behind the window holes. Shot with a strobe in the front to highlight the shading on the cardboard and a strobe with a yellow gel for the background

And this is from the guy who was complaining earlier in the year that he sucks at photography. Wish I sucked like that! Curious how much work went into both the cutout and setting up the shot. Probably a lot.

That must have taken forever to put together! I like the backlight. This would have been nice as a silhouette, too, but I think for this challenge you did the right thing to light the cardboard well enough for us to see some cardboard-y details.
