 This one took me some time to find just the right "HOT" pepper, this one is rated a 10 on the hot scale. I look for a long time for one that was green, yellow, and red, so that when I put it in the ice water, it would look like it was cooling off.

The smoke was from a dozen birthday candles (because they give off the best smoke when you blow them out) sitting in front and blown out towards the back of my light tent, to try to make it look like the smoke was coming from the glass, because the pepper was so damn hot.

Color contrast rocks and also a good contrast on textures too.

It's an interesting image, Max. I think maybe the ice and the cool blue color took away from the concept of "hot," though.
