There is a Lensbaby shot underneath all the layers.

The house next door.

The red layer is from a dried red rose. There's also a grungy border and the bird is cut and pasted from a shot down at the waterfront.

I tweaked the curves on the background layer and also applied some diffuse glow to get some grain into the shot.

The background layer was repeated a few times in pin light and color burn (I think) at various intensities. I moved layers up and down until I came up with something I liked.

Amityville was my first thought...but somehow that bird flying though takes away that thought. This is a really cool blend of color and textures.

I don't think this neighborhood is safe with all the red stuff floating in the sky. I feel like I'm on drugs and I'm not, but looking at this I still think I am on drugs.
