Hi Andy,
First let me say that this is a fine capture, it fits the challenge along with the title. I like the composition it is well done, it gives us all the information needed to tell a story without being over done. The image has a nice tonal range & some nice detail in the chared wood. The overall texture of the image is also nicely done. There are two things I would have liked to have seen here are that I think would have helped the image. One a bit more contrast and, (2) the image be a smedge sharper otherwise this is a really nice capture. |

| Interesting shot andy. I thought it needed a bit more contrast and perhaps needed to be a bit sharper. I still think its underated. |
