 Had fun shooting this... FIRE FIRE FIRE! I did this with a metal stake sticking through some cardboard with red paper over it. I used my Alien Bee's modeling lamps to get rid of the shadow from the stake. I tried a lot of different shutter speeds, but I found the slower ones really worked because they allowed the flames to dance a little. I used Zippo lighter fluid to set the fire... it burns really clean.

I did some minor color adjustments in RAW, added a brightness/contrast layer, and ran it through neat image.

I also considered C for CALIENTE as the title because of the C in the flame, but I wasn't sure everyone would get it...

Had a few others that I considered, but this one just called me...
