I have been thinking of a setup for this week's challenge for the past week or so, and only tonight (July 15, 3 am) I came up with an idea that was somewhat unique. Not the lighting, which was very simple - one flash through an umbrella, with a white sheet and a foam board for reflection and background. The uniqueness comes in the recipe.
If you look carefully, you will notice the texture of the drink is very unusual. I will mail an autographed print to the person who guesses correctly what the ingredients are.
Hint: there are three ingredients, all very cheap, all very common. If you wish to guess, you must do so by leaving a comment through my photoblog - The Obvious. The direct link to this post is here.

Thanks everybody for your kind comments.
I wasn't expecting anything from this photo as far as ratings, simply because there were much more flashier photos out there to vote on.
The "value" of this photo lies in the idea, the planning, and the details behind what you see. In order to be able to take this shot 50 times until I got what I wanted, I had to use something instead of grape juice or any other liquid. I needed the scene to stay the same for hours, so I used lots of corn starch and food coloring. That's where the "value" of this photo lies for me.
Thanks again to all of you who voted.

I think this is an excellent photo, but suspect it will be undervalued. A diferent angle, possibly more above looking down, would probably go over better with voters, But I think it's awesome as is. I hope that I'm totally wrong and this does very well for you!
