Thanks for all of the comments everyone! I am pretty pleased with the results. As always after I entered the photo I thought of different things I should have done or could have done. This image was several firsts for me. It was the first challenge in over a year that I've entered, the first challenge I've entered with my new Lumix camera, and the first time I had ever used Aperture instead of photoshop as I recently switched to a Mac. I see lots of things I could have done differently with my setup and my editing techniques thanks to the comments as well as playing around with Aperture some more since the entry.
Thanks again for all the comments! |

Nicely composed and I like the black background. Quite a lot of reflections around though which could use some control. |

Finally, an intriguing composition. I like the light on the glass, the Patron bottle seems to be suffering with that reflection. The main subject could be sharper (by DPC standards), but still works. Good job. |

looks a little lacking in quality probalby due to too much cropping, but other then that, i like the tilt |

I really like Patron Silver but I find it better for sipping, I've never heard of Gran Gan but guess its alot like cointreau so either would be better than triple sec. Out of all the Tequillas in my extensive collection, I find Sauza Conmemorativo the best for mixing but then again I rant. Great photo. |
