Very interesting. The bird by itself isn't that attractive of an animal, but capturing it in this setting of atonal grasses gives it some grace.

technically this photo is good (focus, exposure, etc) but I think it would benefit from processing to bring out the color in the head. The whole image seems flat. The angle that the bird is turned doesn't contribute either...although I am not sure if you could have controlled that.
