| Too dark and the DOF is too shallow on the stem of the mushroom. |

| Black and white works well here. It's a pity there isn't more depth of field so the edge of the large fungus is sharp. |

| Love the contrast!! It has that mysterious, magical feeling to it. The little one looks like it just popped up out of the ground! Nice choice for black and white! |

| Love the contrast. This is cool but I am afraid a bit too dark for the DPC crowd. I hope I'm wrong. My only complaint is the blur along the front rim of the large mushroom. :~) |

| On one hand I like the extreme darkness, and on the other hand it's a bit too much. For me, it's the area around the main mushroom top. If I could see more of an edge and not have it... "disappear" into the blurred background I don't think the heavy black would bother me. I do like the composition and lighting. Nicely done. |
