 My first submission to DPChallenge - so go easy on me. ;)

Apparently I had a bit of a mental block this weekend - in a graveyard and I was struggling for a good photo for the "weathered" challenge? Ach well - you have to start somewhere. I was amused reviewing this photo to see the weathered 'aged' engraved into this gravestone.

I didn't even get the irony of "aged" until reading your notes. However, I really liked the various textures and thought this fit the theme well (I scored it an 8). I also appreciate the unusual composition. Welcome to DPC and keep up the good work.
