 This is an out of focus shot of the flashing light on a police car. I thought it made a neat looking abstract and it seemed to fit the challenge.

Pre-challenge notes:
Not expecting a whole lot from this, since extreme abstract shots tend to not do well in challenges. (My other option was a bob on a fishing pole which was just ok, but nothing that stood out) I expect a lot of low votes and a few comments relating to not being able to figure out what this is. You never know, however. I've been surprised sometimes.

Post-challenge notes:
Did as expected, but I got some great comments, and looking at the score breakdown I can see it did appeal to 25 people who gave it a 6 or better. I consider this entry a success.

Here's my outtake which I knew would have scored better, though still mediocre.

I couldn't begin to guess what this was, but I like it well enough as an abstract (I was one of your six votes).

Wow hurts my eyes to even look at this, yet look at it I must as there is something hypnotic about the shot. Great interpretation< I guess it may not do too well in the contest but I think it is kinda cool - 9
