Duplicate layer and with levels draw white from background..Then used eraser brush to have background layer show through..

not sure what those lines are in the background but they are distracting...also, you have 720 pixels at your disposal, so why save at 600? She looks pretty and has great eyes, but I think she has far more potential than this image has allowed...
Beautiful portrait! Very well lit. I'm a fan of the background; not sure if it's a shadow or just some shading on the BG itself, but it looks good and helps pull her away from it just enough. 9
