This was shot by my friend Steve Thorne from several floors up at a hotel in Toronto a few years ago.
I think he used a Nikon Coolpix 990, or something similar. I'll confirm with him and make sure I get the details corrected.
I think this is as good as any lightning pic I've seen and thought I should share it.
Maybe I'll convince Steve to join our little community. He's a very talented artist who works as a cinematographer (in film and video), editor, TV producer, etc...and he's an all-around good egg!
