My highest score so far was in the previous rural landscapes challenge so I was determined to enter this one for that reason, and the fact that I am surrounded by the most beautiful rural scenery. However, the weather has not co-operated with my available time this week. I've been up at dawn two mornings only to be scuppered by dull, hazy sunrises. This shot gave me the best light and contrast and I have only done minimal p/shop work on levels and curves. Still, even if it doesn't score well, I still live in a beautiful place.

I just love the old English county side.
Rolling hills and colors are wonderful.

Tough call on this. If you crop the bottom, you may lose the perspective of the house, but the angled foreground is distracting. Perhaps straighten to the foreground line then crop up to the edge of the house from the bottom?

What a beautiful countryside, must be England is it?

A beautiful scene.... A good rural feel as well. The house is a good addition to place the rural life into the shot, but it is just a little cramped in the corner for my taste.... still high marks from me.
