Good use of lighting. Try to keep things like reflection complete in the picture (the egg gets cutoff). Also for a shot like this extra space on the sides would frame it well.

Given the subject matter, I'm not sure I'd use a plain white background. Otherwise I like the idea.

good concept shot - composting is not the easiest or most appealing thing to photograph

I am not sure about the lighting on the top - there dark area in the middle is a problem for me - and the use of the reflective surface seems a bit strange in this case
