Well, I couldn't get my other ideas together, so, I went with this. A cfl bulb, and it is in a black desk lamp and lit. Going for a kind of graphic look, I guess.
In ps-rotate, crop, auto levels, high pass in overlay mode, curves, gradient map to go b/w, then inverse, levels, resize, usm, border and sfw. May get slammed for the inverse thing, but I think it is a kind of cool look, and may stand out from most typical bulb shots of this sort. I guess we'll see.

Shadow effect is very creative here since we normally associate light with white. |
