I quite like this. A lot, in fact. There's a wonderful sense of motion from the birds, of course, but I love how they're completely unaware of the manufactured world around them, or so it seems to me. And ignorant of the people on the right, who are also ignoring them. Really very calming and somehow uplifting.

Those gulls are like the brushstrokes of Van Gogh at the peak of madness. I gave this an 8. I underrated it.

Cool shot Peter. I'll bet this would look good in high contrast b&w. Kind of reminds me of Melethia's "Ode to Joy".

I just love that the couple seem oblivious to the drama playing out behind them.

I really like the soft subtle activity, and great processing. I love how the colors go together.

What I liked about this was the magical waves of blurry white. Look almost like little angels. Glad you did not try and get a stop motion capture here - i think it would have killed some of the drama.

Interesting shot regarding the large number that are in flight.

This is a great image. I'm going to get artsy and say that the longer exposure (and thus, them being blury) speaks to the evanescance and transiance of life.

a bit more of a snap than a well thought out image

Good use of motion blur but way too much clutter...the viewer gets lost.
