Excellent concept for the challenge! I like the radical border thingie going on, too.

I agree with Julianne - I really like the border. I wasn't 100% sure what was going on with this scene but something about it looked pretty cool. It's like there's lots of activity, but the photo does not look chaotic.

I think the processing and the border are cool. They transform a mundane scene into a futuristic, almost robotic, image. I think I would have liked it even better without the green -- it's too warm -- but I like the touches of cold blue. Maybe if the hue of the trees was changed into something cold too, they would fit the rest of the image better.

The border around your photo is very distracting, although it's easy to distract oneself from that pic, where there isn't really an interest subject pulling your eye in...

The border is distracting with its bumped up saturation on the outside. I see where your going with this shot. The inside of the border processing is good. I like the way you lowered the saturation, except the green, to emphasize and add an element. Good focus but seems more of a snapshot than a though out photograph. With that said your lighting is good along with dof.

I like the concept and the shot itself, but man that border is horrible and very distracting.

looks overprocessed and too much like a snapshot, no focal point at all

Swap meet? That would certainly qualify as a great way to recycle/re-use. The post-processing here is killing this shot in my opinion. I know you wanted the green to stand out in this, but it really came out odd.

the hustle and bustel are really captured well here - the choice of selective desaturation gives this a very graphic feel that works well to bring our minds around recycling (the green trees sure do help!)

Border detracts from an already busy image. I like the irony of the Ferrari jacket.
