I visited a website that was representing eco-friendly shoes made from bamboo, recycled tires, etc. There was a cartoon depicting a shoe with flowers and grass growing from it. That is where this idea sprung from! This is my first ever challenge entry so constructive critism will be helpful and appreciated!

man i remember those god-awful looking earth shoes in the 80,s. i think a better crop/angle would help this image,the tops cut off an both sides,good clarity/lighting an color
Dang I like the concept. nice colors, texture and so forth. I with for the green concept that the foliage was not dying but it seems to work with the shoe.
There is a store in Albuquerque called Earth Shoe. I don't know if it exists elsewhere or if your title is related to the store in any way. I just thought that was interesting. Anyway, I like the idea, and the photo itself looks pretty good. I don't like the end of the lace just peeking out from under the shoe. I think I might prefer to see the whole shoe as well, maybe from a little lower angle.
what a cool idea for old shoes - love the brightness of the greens and the earthiness of the shoe color - i just really question the choice of cropping - the toe and the heel seem like they should be in view
