 One of the supermarkets is having a tropical fruit fair. This is the first time I've seen passionfruit in Japan; it comes from Okinawa. As well as the pink casing, it had been wrapped in Saranwrap.
But at ¥298 - say, $3 - it's quite expensive.
I put it in my two-toned clay lateral eggcup. ;-Þ
