 This is a local church to me in Warfield.

I wanted to try out my new 11-16 f/2.8 Tokina lens :) Shot in RAW with a polarizing filter on which is why the sky is darker at the top left.

Converted from RAW in CS3 with a few minor adjustments, convert to black and white in CS3's black and white function with the high contrast red filter option.

Hopefully this will be the highest rated shot for this lens ... especially as currently I am the only person who owns one on dpc!!

this is nice in B&W but I wonder how it would have looked using selective desaturation and leaving just the sky in blue

This is the look I was trying to achieve through several visits to graveyards and churches. I didn't get the shot I was looking for - you did! Great job capturing the strength of the graves. One of my top 10 for this challenge.

This is technically a great picture, interms of the desaturation, sharpness, DOF, perspective, composition, point of view, choice of elements etc. But I am not able to associate with the title, may be it is my problem.
