Lots of post processing...mostly dodge/burn, curves etc. I did alot of pixil level editing to get the contrast and range of tones -just- right. That, and some tweaking of the clouds to bring out highlight detail. All told, close to a 5 hour PS effort...
I think this is one of my better images. The only thing I dont like is the loss of sharpness I got when I saved this as a JPEG. The background mountains probably lost 20-30% of their detail, and the tone difference between the mountains and the clouds became less drastic.
I'd like something above a 6.

Nice B&W image. A bit dark on the right side but that may be my monitor. I don't know which but I definitely would have liked to have seen more sky or more foreground, either of which may have improved this already great capture.
