This image looks SO awesome as a 24x36" poster.. I had hoped for a higher score in Free Study, but the smile I got from Heidi as I gave her the poster was enough to make me feel good about the image.

Wow, this is beautiful. What a lucky woman to have you for her photographer.

I don't disagree at all with your choice between those two shots. I meant more a composition where she was looking/smiling at what I thought might be the groom in the background. Sort of an, "Oh, joy, I see my beloved" pose which would cause me to think they were about to do the stereotypical run into each others' arms thing. In other words, I thought positioning her to the right of him (or what I imagined to be him) in the frame would tell a better story, in my imaginative mind ;-) But glad to hear the bride was thrilled; surely her opinion counts way more than mine! And you got some terrific shots while trashing the dress; great stuff.

I had an image with her looking at the camera. I didn't find it nearly as compelling. The look off in the distance added intrigue to the image that the look at the camera missed.

I guess that "thing" in the background is the bridegroom, right ;-) Certainly looks vivid in the poster-sized print.

I like this photo quite a bit... I wish her hand wasn't on her head, but maybe it was windy. 9

I see the groom way off there in the distance having second thoughts ;-) And no wonder; I can't see who the bride is smiling at but it's not him! Windswept grass is nice; seriously I would compose this so she is looking into the scene, not out of it.
