 It seems to me that the dragonflies started appearing later this year than usual. Anyway, this is my first dragonfly macro of this year; he sat on my knee for a bit and I got him when he lifted up his head. It's not really as sharp as I would like it - I had the camera set at aperture priority, though usually I have it at shutter priority.

Love that. Something about this big orb eyes - gives them an almost cartoon-like appearance. Great macro.
