 Elevation 9940'. In the heart of the glacial valley, RMNP. The boulders on the shore are called glacial erratics.... deposited by the retreating glaciers 10,000 years ago.

Wow, that blue sky is extraordinary!! I may have hiked that region when I was last there, hiked 3 lakes and it was breathtaking! 66 degrees in November that year!

mmmmm. That really warms my heart. My father has the same (almost) photo hanging in his office. I am not sure which lake this is, but I am sure I have seen it back at home. A great photo...

to be honest, this landscape is boring. The foreground seems to get in the way , the middle is boring and the background is missing (well half way)

IMO to have a solid landscape you need some foreground that somewhat frames or compliments the picture, not distract. The middle has to have something interestings and the background must be appealing.
