 Two of my schools girls' volleyball teams were playing in the Prefectural championship today (primary schools). The Prefectural Champions get to play in the National Finals later in the year.

As they were playing at one of the primary schools near me (2km away - my schools are about 25km away), I popped in on the way home from pottery class.

I just watched the one game, and I wasn't allowed on the floor during the game. They got creamed in the first set, did the creaming in the second set, and won the third set more closely. I didn't hang around for the next game, which featured my other school.
(And had to remember to post a pic shot with the 50mm, one that included the ball) ;-Þ

eta: This team won three games to get through to the Final 8; they'll play the finals next weekend.

Great shot and great shutter speed to keep the players sharp and to capture the motion of the ball.
