Good job on the processing to isolate your subjects; I bet they wouldn't have noticed if you got right in front of them because they are so glued together.

I shot this at ISO 1600 at 1.8, so there was some noise but the people were under a light so it was pretty bright. I thought of using this in the soft focus challenge. I converted to black and white using a gradient map and a selective color to adjust tones. I then sharpened it some and then ran gaussian blur around ten pixel on the small image and faded the effect. I am not sure why I made it so light. I thought the blur added to the romantic mood I suppose. :)

EDIT: Thanks for the info! I'm curious about the gradient map -- may have to experiment.
