So there's a story. A pro photographer friend of mine heard it from his university professor. The professor went to a countryside with his family and after some hiking they sat in a restaurant. The professor noticed how the sun streams in front of him make a wonderful contrast with the pine trees and got his kid to pose aiming directly to the sun. Then, the waiter appears and he's almost screaming at the poor guy: "Hey man, let me tell you something! That's not the way to shoot photos. You should never aim towards the sun, but it should always be behind your back." The waiter takes the kid, moves him in the opposite direction, snaps a few and dissapears.
