A doughboy (WWI Infantryman) statue in a neighborhood park. In addition to the colorful carnations, note the sculpted poppies in his hand.
The base of the statue reads:
From Flanders Fields
If Ye Break Faith
With Those Who Died
We Shall Not Sleep
Though Poppies Grow
On Flanders Field
Additional note: I don't know who placed the flowers, nor the June occasion (usually one or more people leave flowers on Memorial Day).
PP: Cropped, adjusted exposure, resized, sharpened.

Your crop and the focus on the (real) flowers really make this shot. Very good.

Normally statue photos are kinda plain, but this is a lovely view with the nice touch of the flowers. Very good angle/framing - I like that you cut off the top of his head.

Nice composition. Did you put the flowers there or was this a "find". Nice shot.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow, between the crosses, row on row...
and carnations, too!
Nice work.
