I like how you captured the elephant looking directly at us ΓΆ€“ the bright sun (at least it appears to be so to me) is a bit disappointing.

Fantastice capture of the texture of the elephant's hide. I would have been tempted to crop out the BG on the right side and just have the animal fill the frame.

A little harsh on the lighting but this is not in your control....a bit lost as to where to look.
