I personlly think that this one would have earned you a higher score. It seems like the spider was too small for your camera to properly focus on, or it was getting confused on WHAT to focus on. There are a couple of things that really stand out on this image that I particularly like. The bokeh pattern in the backround is awesome, and gives the photo a wide range of tones aside from thos in the flower. The other thinkg I really like is that tiny bug sihouette on the stalk. It makes this photo very real instead of being something you set up on your kitchen table. Very nice work, and I'm sorry for being so long winded! :-) |

Gee... I like this, and yes, it is a great high contrast image.
I like the tine little bug/imsect I see on the underside of the stem..... |
