I took this shot of my brother in law on my deck in the back of my house. He is always a good subject for odd photos and I thought this one turned out good.
I did a little dodge and burn, UM and applied a percentage of the diffuse glow filter in PS.
The gross factor is what catches people's attention when they see the photo.
I was loving the clarity I got with my 40D and the Canon 28-135 IS lens.

eww eww eww this reminds me of when i was in school at UC. The cicadas came out in strong force during Spring Quarter and people would run around and shake the trees during changes in class periods. So I ended up with a few in my hair... eww. And then they had the live cicada eating contests. gag. Did your BIL eat any then? hehe
The blurriness of the front part of his face coupled with the sharp focus on the insects would have me believe that this is a photo of bugs on a photo of a face.
