I like the way this is set up. The background through the jar and the detail in the wood add to the scene, but the angled light set it off.

Theres plenty to look at in this shot and its clear you've spent some time thinking about composition. Not being a Kentucky resident (or it could just be because I'm a bit slow!) I'm not sure how exactly the title relates to this shot.. my mind is boggling thinking about it! It looks like water and ice which isn't the most exotic choice of subject matter and with that in mind I have scored this down a little because I dont know how it relates to the challenge - 5.

Nice idea. I like the composition. Would be better if the horizon was straight and the lighting is a little harsh on the left side of the jar.
