Hey that's a tiger beetle! I haven't seen one of those in years! Great job capturing that green-chrome look of them. |

Nice shot of a tiger beetle you got there! Great job getting him facing you in the shot- almost looks as if he's going to scamper over and attack the viewer. Being that they are voracious predators, this shot is even better once you know some info about the subject! |

These iridescent bugs are so pretty but hard to capture. You did well with being able to get enough of an angle on it to see the lovely colours on its back as well as the detail on its head. |

I like the crop the way it is. It's nice to see the surroundings, and the DOF really sets him off. The color of the bug is amazing. This picture takes my imagination into the realm of sci-fi. I can imagine some tiny people hiding behind that rock on the right. |

Love the way he is stomping straight towards you - he is like a minature version of one of those 'Walker' things from Starwars.
Great PoV. I might be tempted to crop in a bit though so he becomes a larger focal point. |

Nice shot, personally I wouldn't crop it at all. |

The shot works nicely without the crop. It shows the beast in it's environment, and the DOF and color contrast does the attention focusing . Too bad he was directly head on to the camera. I would like to see a quarter or side view of the little guy. |

OK, you don't have to crop it ;-) Cute little bug. I have no idea what it is but it's a pretty color alright, and it stands out just fine without cropping. |
