The bottle is a 1993 Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild. One of the best wines I have ever had an opportunity to taste. Actually, I tasted this bottle awhile ago and remember it well. The glass is holding a 2006 Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet from Australia. Amateur oenophile I am. Then again, a good Jameson’s works in a pinch as well…

Again, nothing special with the shot. Bounce flash and a table lamp over the top. The angle in this was odd for me, but it is what it is :-)

I'm guessing it's the angle you shot from to make it seem a bit off. The lighting is well done and I really like the backlit area, however it seems a bit underexposed.

It's gotta be the light that makes it look skewed. The wine in the glass is straight :)

Did you shoot from a low angle? I'm thinking you might have just a tiny bit of perspective making the angle look a bit strange.

shooting after one has a glass (or 2) of an awesome Rothschild is NOT the way to get the proper alignment ...hehehehe

or perhaps it is....is that a half bottle?? it seems out of proportion against the size of the glass..

fwiw, the lighting makes this seem almost vignetted to the right and falls off the label a bit too soon

I agree with Art - it's the glass...or just the lighting on the glass. Maybe crop that right side with a bit of perspective correction. Lighting on the label a little muddy, too, might bring up the highlights a bit. Nice, though.

You're right about the angle - just seems to be the wine glass - like the pic is skewed. The bottle seems straight. Light balance seems to be a tad on the yellow side. If you found any of that helpful, please send me a bottle of that wine. ;-)
