I really like the minimal focus on the buds and the fading focus to the BG. Good title for I could just imagine the fragrance of the impending bloom. |

First thing I thought when I viewed this was, out of focus. Upon looking though I see your focus point was in the middle of the leaf and quite frankly is ok right there. This shot kind of grows on you.
I would have preferred a wee bit more dof. |

Great colors and sharpness.
Crit. Analysis: I think a 25-45 degree rotate clockwise might make a stronger composition. The flower at the top is close to the edge, and the triangle shape is the key to the comp. But rotated you'd have a triangle more closely (but not right) on the diagonals, and I think that would be nice (at least trying to picture it in my head.) |
