 Something a little different since I was actually able to get out and snap a few.

At first I really despised those construction trucks being in the frame. But they are really starting to grow on me. Especially, now that I see that red tone of the skaters hair carrying through to the trucks, the fence and various other places throughout this scene.

I guess it also goes along with how I like those extra bits of information in the scene, waiting to be discovered. Things that give a photo personality and character. I think people get far to carried away with sterilizing a photograph to within an inch of its life, all in the name of forcing attention on the subject.

Exactly, regarding your comments about having things to discover in the photo. My favorite parts of this are the hair and the truck (good color match, as you've mentioned) and for some reason the littler guy's helmet and propped up board.

My focus is really on the 3 people upfront and the trucks aren't an issue. I like how you've captured them all in their own worlds.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE! That focus is GREAT! Colours are beautiful as well. There is a skate park here, never have time to go by there it seems :( perhaps I will soon... Lovely photograph.

Trucks are not a problem in this image. Very sharp subjects, hard to imagine this is at f/2.8

The sun on the hair is fantastic, the colour overall is pretty amazingly done. Your capture of the guy with his arms out balancing is great.

Isn't it funny how skateboarding has come around again? I remember when they first came out, I made one out of a board and an old skate. ROFL Showing my age.

My initial impression was "nice color", really vibrant. Then I read you description and now the construction truck is the only thing I see. :)
