 I worked on this picture for a little too long, finally gave up and went for the artistic filters...I love the effects they can give an image. I think the original is sweet,

I wanted just a tad more pizzazz, just love to play

Edit: levels, crop, Nix contrastcolor, sponge stick, water color, drop shadow frame/color line, changed aspect ratio to "shrink" this a bit...

At first glance I thought you shot this through frosted "privacy" glass! Fun, and if you're going to play with special effects, these side challenges are the place to do it (effects often kill a photo in a voter challenge).

Great colour, it really drew me to the thumbnail. The background looks like its shimmering in the heat.

I dig the effect here. Very dreamy. My first thought was that you shot this through some sort of leaded glass or the like. Nicely done.

I do like the processing here. The only thing I'm not 100% on is the dark outline around some of the flowers, especially the one on on the right in the middle - it's just a bit distracting for me.

It really does look like a painting. Flowers are the bestest. It's getting so hot here that they are withering.
