This is a great shot. Love the shadow and the high key look of the photo. The focus is soft, as it looks like it might have grabbed the side of the cup instead of the top. Thats all I got.

Yes, that would be pretty strong! My stepdaughter gave me chocolate covered espresso bean one time. One of the nastiest things I ever tasted. I think the shadow could benefit from a little noise reduction. I do realize that's the texture of the surface it is on. I often use posterboard as a background and I've found noise reduction helps smooth it out. (I probably just need to find a better background material)

BTW, is it "Espresso" Or "Expresso"? I've seen it spelled both ways.

Lighting is much better here, but think DOF is off.
The beans appear soft while your eye wants them sharp.
i do like the warm tone of the shadow.
